Project Overview

The LockART customization app is a sophisticated digital tool that allows users to design their ideal entry door with precision and ease. Built for both homeowners and design professionals, the app offers a seamless, step-by-step experience where users can personalize key elements such as door models, colors, finishes, handles, glass types, and accessories. Each choice is instantly reflected in a high-quality visual preview, enabling users to explore combinations and make confident decisions. With its sleek interface, responsive design, and attention to detail, the app bridges the gap between craftsmanship and technology, making high-end door customization both accessible and enjoyable.

The problem

Customizing high-end security doors can be an overwhelming process for users, especially when dealing with technical specifications, aesthetics, and compatibility options. LockART needed an intuitive, visually appealing solution to guide customers through a complex range of customization choices—without sacrificing clarity, product accuracy, or brand elegance. The previous experience lacked modern UX standards, leading to confusion, dropped sessions, and missed conversion opportunities.

The goal

The goal of this project was to design a user-centered customization app that makes the process of configuring a LockART door simple, engaging, and accessible—while maintaining the brand’s premium, secure, and architectural identity. The app needed to streamline complex decision-making into a guided journey, offer real-time visual previews, and work flawlessly across devices.

Visual Design

I concentrated on developing a sleek, intuitive visual design that enhances usability and embodies LockART's dedication to premium, customizable entry doors. A sophisticated palette of deep charcoal and muted metallic tones conveys elegance and durability, while subtle gold accents highlight key interactive elements, reflecting the brand's luxurious appeal. Clean layouts with ample white space ensure an uncluttered interface, allowing users to focus on personalizing their selections. Legible typography and intuitive icons facilitate effortless navigation, delivering a seamless and engaging customization experience that resonates with homeowners seeking both security and style.
